Why does Seller Support even exist?

Why does Seller Support even exist?

No really - they don't do anything. Why is HAQM paying these people to just say "no" to everything?

I'd give an example here, with plenty of detail about what needs to be fixed on this ASIN I'm dealing with - But what is the point? The mods here are seemingly just as incapable of fixing things these days. I've written super detailed posts with logic and reason - and I'm usually just ignored altogether.

Why is this place such a joke?

Hi there @Seller_rFyxk4x2i2V6L,

While there are instances in which Seller Support might be able to fix details about a product, in general these submissions must be made by Sellers and if the contributions are from Brand Owners, it may not be possible for those changes to be implemented from a non-Brand Owner. While you might have really strong reasoning, HAQM prioritizes the requests and contributions from Brand Owners as experts. However if you provide your most recent Case on this issue I can investigate and see what options exist. Thank you for your understanding.

I have gone through similar things, I don't bother to submit cases anymore since in the past they would just close them "without resolution".

Post in the forums & hope another seller can help, figure it out yourself or live with it. At some point we will have had enough & move on.

I've had nearly no luck with seller support. (In reality, using the terms "seller" + "support" together when referring to HAQM is laughable.) HAQM's so called seller support is pretty much completely incompetent these days. This is because HAQM resents and hates their sellers. We are a burden to them, in their eyes. They wish they could completely get rid of us. HAQM could care less whether your issues are solved or not, so they put their lowest intellect workers on that.

The mods are a different story. They want to help. They see our struggles. Sometimes they can help. Sometimes now so much. There are issues there. 1) sometimes it is hard to get an overworked mod's attention. They are stretched thin. They are of course stretched thin because there is no seller support anymore. 2) even the mods get stonewalled by other departments. I've spoken about this to an ex-HAQM moderator who no longer works for HAQM.

In a nutshell, HAQM does not care about you or I. If HAQM can save a few dollars and all it means is that sellers' lives are turned into an ungodly h3llish nightmare.. Then HAQM will save that money and to h3ll with the sellers.
