is there a way to change back to not handmade ?

my listings that are Not in the handmade section are doing better , i tried a few and since i added to the handmade section sales are completely down can i change it back

Any suggestions

Hi Henweb,

There is no way to get a new listing changed into an old listing. Each listing created is like a different product sitting on a shelf, they are unique and different.

If you still have the old listing on the back end you can just remove inventory from the handmade and relist under the old listing. Hopefully, you have not deleted this listing from your manage listings yet.

If you want to change a new handmade listing to the main catalog you should just need to update the attribute box that makes it handmade, or run a partial update for this field. (this is in theory as I have yet to try it. I'm not sure if this attribute is locked.)

If anyone has given this a whirl yet could you please comment, and let us know how and if it worked.
