It's not really new (except the 100 units part). Bottom line is they are fishing to see if you have legitimate documentation to be selling Nike. Most likely, your invoices will be denied-do you have a LOA from Nike?

Is every Nike seller receiving this letter? I have a few Nike products listed, but have not received this yet.

100 units of an item is crazy. If I was selling a pair of size 10 Nike shoes I wouldn't stock 100 pairs of 1 shoe. It would be different if you could break it up into 10 different items totaling 100 but as far as I can tell that option isn't available. You might get around it by sourcing 100 pairs of socks or 100 hats but that is still excessive. I would never go that deep into a product unless it was a top % item.

I received that same email yesterday. It seems like they are doing this to a lot of items. Burts Bees is 300 items to ungate.

I received it as well, for a small seller like i am. It not so fair to do this to someone that wants to make extra. Not only as if nike has products that are like under15$ to help someone out to get an invoice and not have to support the cost. and then at the end not take the incoice

This post is yet another reason I no longer shop on HAQM (nothing personal, @Seller_GGr7Seoq8ZGBd or other sellers of Nike products).

Every purchase is a pig in a poke.

HAQM claims to be on top of things, but they are simply too big to regulate themselves properly. Especially with bots and poorly-trained employees. Oh, and with no sense of ethics.

If there is a God, HAQM will eventually fall of its own weight. ⌚

Our "purchase or die" email was for the benefit of Scholastic(publisher of the Harry Potter titles and other grade-level books. In the 1950's-70's, if you happened to attend a book fair in elementary/middle school, or had the opportunity to buy inexpensive paperbacks through a publication then called The Weekly Reader, probably stocked w/ Scholastic books) .

For years, we were approved. without purchase, strictly on our record. But this ridiculous request for an invoice for 100 titles within 2 weeks-FORGET IT!!. In the next few months, we're removing about half of our 15,000 title inventory, going to (hopefully) greener pastures. Recent buying freezes/boycotts prove how much the public resents AMZ's tenacle-like sprawl in retail/medicine & pharmacy/car purchases.

Eventually, TPTB will make a fatal mistake with their overreach. Too bad taking our business-and other small retailers- with it!!
