Fee adjustments for partnered carrier shipment measurements

To improve the accuracy of weight and dimension inputs for domestic US HAQM Partnered Carrier shipments, notifications in Seller Central inform you when carriers find differences between the measurements that you enter and your shipment's actual measurements.

If the measured weight, dimensions, or freight class (when applicable) of your small parcel or less-than-truckload shipment differs from what you provided at shipment creation, you see a notification in the Inbound Performance dashboard.

Starting on June 12, 2025, these measurement differences will result in a fee adjustment including a credit to your account if your provided measurements were too high or a charge if they were too low.

You can view your measurement differences by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Inbound Performance dashboard.
  2. Select Inaccurate transportation weight/dims under Defect group.
  3. Click View details to see the specific measurement difference.

For more information, go to HAQM Partnered Carrier program FAQ.

And there it is...another sneaky way to squeeze in another bs fee.

First of all, when creating an FBA shipment, the system already calculates the weights and dimensions based on each unit info that was used when the listings were initially created. (HAQM always uses higher weights and dimensions than what we put in when listing was created).

As far a freight class, well how do we know which is the correct one or not because again, HAQM's system already inputs that data as well as how many pallets, how high, etc.

We personally wouldn't be able to 100% confirm all this information until AFTER we have produced and palletized each pallet in each shipment.

What is the purpose of this new strategy?

Explain how you came to such a new fee adjustment?

Are sellers paying too much for partnered carrier shipments?

Are sellers paying too little for partnered carrier shipments?

Looking forward to answers to all of these questions.

Thank you!

@KJ_HAQM So the only change in this policy compared to before is that HAQM will now send a notification in the Inbound Performance section, and if the seller has overpaid, HAQM will issue a refund.

if the seller has underpaid or provided incorrect shipment information, additional charges will be applied and deducted from the seller's credit — that’s the only update, right?

We have filed suit against HAQM for knowingly and intentionally falsifying measurements to increase the amount we are charged for shipping. We were being charged 2 lbs shipping rates for 7 ounce items, nearly doubling the proper shipping charge. We even recalled an item from FBA and showed it next to rulers to prove they were lying. HAQM consistently plays the deny, defer, and deflect standard operating procedure intending to frustrate sellers into abating rightful claims. Enough of the phony seller support merry-go-round.

Is there a way to refute these charges? We measure and weigh every single shipment, but we are being already hit left and right with "adjustments" that are almost equal to the original shipping charge.

This is flat out theft. I am not any sort of legal expert, but I sincerely hope someone looks into a Class Action suit regarding this.
