New FBA Reimbursement Policy

Is it AI that is calculating our costs for reimbursement ? And is AI taking Handmade into its calculation ? I have submitted invoices, all getting rejected, created cases with seller support who have given me the run around and have not understood the intricacies of handmade -- which basically is the cost of materials, labor and our markup. I was also told that handmade items could not be FBA!!! And today I was told that the Handmade department has nothing to do with FBA reimbursement. It is another department ????? So joey_amazon -- what are you talking to the Handmade team about ? (am posting a new thread as amazon hasn't been active on the last one) - and I am extremely frustrated at the moment.

If you are including markup in your invoices, that's probably why they are getting disallowed. The new policy is crap for everyone - for example if you are buying from overseas, it's only the actual cost of goods you paid the factory. No international shipping, no FBA inbound fees, etc which are a major cost for imported goods. So everyone (except HAQM of course) is losing money with this new policy. We in handmade are allowed the cost of materials + labor same as everyone else and that's it. So far I haven't had any of my invoices rejected by keeping to just material and labor costs.
