I Honestly Answered a Survey About Advertising, Now I Have Zero Sales
I received a survey about HAQM Advertising and answered sincerely, providing honest feedback about PPC taking all of our profit away. After sending back the survey, I have had zero - none- sales.
I'm just selling the remaining inventory of this products.
We are in the process of launching a new line of products in a different category and were planning to sell them in HAQM.
I guess, HAQM doesn't like us anymore.
Should I make plans to sell in a different platform or this is only temporary? Has anyone experience this before?
I'm not spending advertising money on our current products.
I would appreciate if anyone can provide me with any suggestions to remediate this situation.

the one has certainly nothing to do with the other. It's end of the month, people are waiting the paycheck and don't buy NOW. Advertising end of the month is lost money.

people aren't buying right now, except for necessities. The economy is not great right now.
My advertising costs are high and i'm not getting sales. I have shut most of it off.

HAQM is a for profit venture that is in the business of maximizing profits on their platform. They do care that you are viable. They also try to persuade you to be a better online seller by rewarding business practices they like, and the opposite for things they view harmful to your, and their bottom line. They are not a babysitter. That exists in the online education portion of HAQM. Good luck to you. When evaluating an e-commerce host like HAQM, it is important to understand their business goals. They do not have any interest in helping you be profitable if you refuse to adjust to their methods. Suggestions- Try to see what HAQM is trying to tell you about your business and adjust accordingly.

HAQM isn't what it used to be. It is almost virtually impossible to talk with a person there. Often when I go into the site to update my items or check to see if I have any sales they have changed the website without notification and what would have been a quick minutes check-in turns into about an hour filled with frustrations. I have considered dropping HAQM due to their ever increasing fees but haven't done so yet. I feel your pain.

The best is to ask yourself, What is your goal here? If you are not getting your GOAL here. Look back, learn and move on. Here is not everything.

The same thing happened to us, and it took about 6-months to rebound. I processed a few more surveys thinking this cannot be a result/penalty or pattern, only to find the same repeating experience, and timeline to rebound. I no longer participate in any surveys. Hang in there if you can.

Hi @Seller_xypU7EVyvBkIX
Sandy from the Community manager team here.
HAQM welcomes honest feedback. Because you replied honestly it will not affect anything on your account what so ever.
Utilizing ads and leaning what works for your business is defiantly something many sellers have talked about here on forums. We have our Ask HAQM with the ads team on June 12th so it may be a great opportunity to ask questions to the ads team during this event.
🚨 ASK AMAZON - HAQM Ads Team Answers Questions & Shares Best Practices on June 12th (you can post your questions early on this post too)

Try not relaying someone to talk to.. HAQM does not want to hold your hand at all. I've been selling for 15 years I probably have called them 6 times. I feel like I could figure tackle problems better or figure out the issue on my own. Its not easy selling and its not going to get easier.

You're 100% correct. I started getting "punished" several years ago by selling on another platform. HAQM's algorithms must be good because every time and I do mean every time I made a sale there they would delete my product because of the dreaded high pricing error-even though I had sold those items on HAQM for the same price. When I started answering the surveys honestly and posting the truth my sales have decreased even further. It doesn't matter that my metrics are perfect (100% positive feedback, 0 late shipments, 0 cancels, 100% valid tracking and 100% on time delivery). HAQM used to be 80% of my sales but have dropped to less than 30%. My total sales are still the same. Diversify. Diversify. Diversify. Can't wait until it falls below 10% so I can say goodbye to HAQM.

The platform is unpredictable, with changing alg0rithms, rising fe3s, and limited supp0rt. Diversifying across platforms like Ebbay, Walmrt, Essy, Shopify, or even social commerce (Tikkok, Instgram) can protect your business and give you more control.
