Power Tape Listing Incorrectly Flagged as Mouth Tape — Need Help Resolving Restricted Product Removal
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to see if someone from the HAQM team or another seller with experience in restricted product removals can help us out.
Our product, Power Tape, was recently removed for allegedly violating HAQM’s restricted products policy on “mouth tape.” However, this is a first aid tape and has never been marketed or positioned for any use related to mouth taping.
Here are the key points:
The listing title, bullet points, and description all clearly state that this is a first aid tape intended solely for securing dressings and bandages.
The product images reinforce this use, with disclaimers making it clear that this is not a mouth tape.
The listing has never included “mouth tape” as a keyword or backend search term.
Our advertising campaigns have always been targeted exclusively at customers searching for first aid and medical tape.
Seller Support (CASE 17597714561) claims the listing was modified to reflect mouth tape use, but we have not made any such changes and have a consistent version history that supports our claim.
This seems to be a false flag — possibly by an automated system — and we’re hoping someone from HAQM can take a closer look and help us get this resolved.

Thank you in advance for any help or guidance you can provide.

Hi @Seller_CvaARJmrj3STz,
Thanks for posting your inquiry. I've reviewed the details of this request, and have confirmed that the decision by the team is correct, as the product can be used as a Mouth Tape and also advertises usage on the skin which is prohibited per the Mouth Tape policy.
Regards,
- Manny
