And then Lancome was blocked in Canada
HAQM once again pulls the rug out from under us. The only money maker I had going in the fragrance department is now blocked. I am trying. I am trying my hardest to stay specialized, but big brother is not making it easy. I can't tell if they really want us Sellers to succeed or not.

More and more brands are cracking down on unauthorized resellers of their products on marketplaces like HAQM (especially HAQM).
Unless you can get authorized by Lancome, you probably will not be able to sell it going forward.

someone with the money will eventually fight this nonsense of blocking legit sales of legit products. I’m here for it and I can’t wait for it to happen. Let the market work the way it was intended.

Simply show HAQM your written Letter of Authorization from Lancome. That will take care of it.
Not sure what fantasy world you think a free-for-all is "the way it was intended", but brand owners have pretty much ALWAYS fought to retain at least a small bit of control over their products' distribution.
Personally, ESPECIALLY when it comes to something that I put in or on my body, I want to be sure that the party I'm buying it from is selling legit, authorized, product.

So are you saying that you had written authorization FROM LANCOME to sell their products? Or are you using "the authorization process" to refer to HAQM ungating you and allowing you to sell it? Different animal.
And even if authorized, companies can change who they want selling their product. Happens all the time, and not just on HAQM. That's why it's important to not have all your eggs in one basket.
Yes, it's hard to swallow, but it's the reality of how things work.

Hello @Seller_2xEkbLg91JMJx- and thank you for posting about this situation.
It is true that certain products, categories, and brands may require approval to sell, be it from HAQM or from the brand directly.
You can look to the full process for Approvals here, as well as specific on obtaining a Letter of Authorization in case it proves useful. Please also know you are posting in the US side of the seller forums, and you may benefit from posting on the Canada side for region specific guidance from users there! You can create such a post by clicking on the flag dropdown in the top-right of your forums view and selecting the Canadian flag.
Thank you again for posting, and I hope this information helps.
Best,
Danny
