Inability to change country of registration due to system error

Hi! I need your advice - has anyone dealt with something like this?

I have a Seller account registered under my US-based company. From day one, my business has been legally operating in the US, and I pay all applicable US taxes.

However, during the account registration, HAQM's system automatically pulled in "Cyprus" as the country of registration. I believe this happened because I was temporarily living in Cyprus at the time and used that address as the residential address for myself as the owner. But that country has nothing to do with my actual business operations - I'm a resident of another country, and my company is and always has been US-registered.

Now here's the issue:

HAQM refuses to change the country. Their internal team says it’s "technically impossible" to update the registration country, and they recommend that I open a brand new account with a different email.

But this directly contradicts HAQM's own policies, which clearly state that sellers cannot create multiple accounts without express approval - doing so puts the account at risk of being flagged or banned for related accounts.

So basically, HAQM is advising me to violate the HAQM Business Solutions Agreement instead of fixing a system-generated error. I have a fully functioning, legal US business, and instead of supporting me, HAQM is pushing me toward a risky workaround.

Is there any way to escalate this properly and have the country updated without violating policy?

Appreciate any insights - thanks in advance!

Hi there @Seller_KcyWtExCoRHrC

My name is CR and wanted to jump in and see if I could get some additional information for you. It sounds like you've opened up a case with Seller Support from the above. Would you mind sharing the most recent case #(s) you have opened with them below? I'd be happy to take a deeper look there and review any correspondence provided to this point.

I'll remain here for your response.
