HAQM returned FBA held storage 8 years later
It's cleaning time again...last year I got backpacks returned. This year I have baby crib sheets that were returned. I sold these like in 2015. I have not had any FBA held inventory since before the freaking Pandemic. I opened a case to request all the storage fees I've paid for this inventory that AMAZON has misplaced for years...and of course the staffer didn't understand the request. Any suggestions?

So I got a response to my case. Surprise...the staffer was clueless and unhelpful. I responded. They asked for Storage Fees reports. I was only able to download the last 10 and respond. Chat or Phone call was the only option. I was on chat with another worthless staffer for 35 minutes who did nothing and finally agreed to escalate. This is why I self fulfill all my inventory. I have no lost or damaged items now.

We've been trying to do a removal order for an unit that has to be more than 2 years old. After trying and failing to remove this product, we opened a case. It turns out that HAQM is so swamped with returns that they had to lease temporary space to store them. These temporary warehouses can't process removals, so it's stuck there. What a nightmare....

@Seller_64yqkHy4hkyO4 I'd be happy to jump in here and assist!
Please navigate to your inventory ledger report, which shows there has been ASINs with FBA inventory from back to 01/2024 (as far as I can see in my view). To avoid the continued storage fees that were incurred, the units would either need have been sold to customers, or been associated with removal orders to be returned to you based on your return settings.
It appears that recently an automated removal was generated on your behalf.
Regarding reimbursement, any reimbursement claims must be submitted within 90 days of the charge.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion!
Thank you!

Arbitrate
Support is clueless and the chances of them being able to help you, let alone understand the issue is close to zero.
Don't waste more time than you need to, move straight to arbitration and have one of HAQM's lawyers figure everything out. You aren't financially responsible for HAQM's mis-management of returns.
