HAQM’s Case Handling Feels Like a Rubber Stamp

I am FBM seller on HAQM, Case ID 17897487301. The buyer has abused the return policy by fabricating facts. The returned item shows signs of severe wear, as if it had been dragged on a concrete floor. According to HAQM’s return policy, I issued only a 50% partial refund.

During communication through HAQM’s messaging system, the buyer sent me two photos as evidence of the product’s condition, but they clearly show a completely different model and serial number (I have collected and compared the evidence with detailed side-by-side images described in the case). This is a clear abuse of the return policy, and the buyer left malicious negative feedback.

I have submitted multiple appeals with photo and video evidence, but have only received generic template responses and no substantive review.

Why has HAQM not conducted a manual review of my evidence? Why does HAQM allow buyers to maliciously abuse the return policy and retaliate against sellers?

I respectfully request that HAQM reopen the case, remove the false negative feedback, and strengthen protections against return fraud. Please provide a clear response and solution.

I'm also a seller on eBay, and honestly, eBay would never handle things like this. eBay actually reviews the evidence provided by the seller, looks into the buyer’s account, and makes a fair decision. They’ll remove negative feedback and performance strikes if the seller did nothing wrong — especially when a refund or partial refund has already been issued. eBay protects sellers when it's clear the seller followed the rules.

’But on HAQM, my experience has been totally different. The case responses feel like automated replies, and it seems like no one is actually reading or caring about the real issue the seller is facing.

Long time seller here. Return fraud is completely out of control right now here on HAQM.

I have received 2 empty box FBM returns in the past 7 days. I have not had a single empty box return before these 2. About 20% of my orders result in some sort of fraud (false INR, switcharoo return, damaged return, rental return, etc).

Morals and ethics are out the window with buyers these days and HAQM refuses to the acknowledge the fraud or do anything to mitigate it.

Hundreds of posts like this are made weekly. It sounds like your "buyer" left libel as seller feedback as well. I am so sorry. You, I, and other sellers should not have to deal with this. We could be spending our time growing our businesses, enjoying time with our families/friends, or a number of other meaningful things.

Instead we are fighting against contant scams and trying to keep our reputations and businesses afloat.
