I shipped an order of 12 handmade items worth over $600. I took photos of the items before shipping, packed them carefully, and shipped via FedEx with signature confirmation. The order was delivered on April 25th, just two days after the order was placed. The tracking shows that the package was delivered and signed for by the buyer.

Now, 10 days later, the buyer claims they did not receive the order and is demanding a refund. They also mentioned living in a “bad neighborhood,” implying possible theft.

I’ve encountered situations like this before: first, the refund demand, then a complaint to HAQM, and eventually compensation to the buyer at my expense, leaving me without the item or the money.

Is there any way we, as sellers, can protect ourselves in such cases when there is confirmed delivery with a signature, photos of the items before shipping, and fast delivery via a reputable carrier?

Also, how can we report these types of buyers who seem to take advantage of situations like this? Any tips on how to prevent this from affecting my seller account?

Looking for advice or if others have faced something similar.

I recently noticed suspicious activity affecting one of my best-performing products. Two accounts left 1-star reviews. Both accounts had only 2–3 total reviews each—and oddly, each left a negative review on my product and a positive review on the same competing item.

Even stranger, both reviews had a nearly identical tone and structure, and both reviewers added a random review on a third, unrelated item (likely to make it seem more natural).

This seems like a coordinated attempt to hurt my rating and boost another seller. I’ve reported it through amazon but haven’t heard back yet.

You can clearly see which seller is doing this to my listing!

Anyone know how to get HAQM to take this seriously or had success resolving something like this? This kind of behavior undermines the entire review system.

Appreciate any help.

Hello: I have been an FBA customer for 6 years with a 5 star rating. I send my product to FBA case packed in perfect condition, ASIN B07F41XH84 (it's a can you can stand on it, very tough). Over the years customers send me pictures of delivered cans, flat as a pancake, like they were run over by a truck. I did not send the product to FBA this way, the damage happened between FBA and the customer. Now HAQM has shut me down and wants a plan on how I am going to fix the situation. I sell a brand that I get from an authorized wholesaler who is authorized to provide inventory to resellers. I have submitted the legitimate, paid invoice from a recent restock that meets all HAQM requirements - recent, unaltered, commercial invoice, 100+ units, etc. They have been repeatedly rejecting it for a month with no explanation. I finally got an explanation today that says:

-- The provided documentation cannot be accepted due to potential document alterations identified in our verification process. To validate product legitimacy, submit authentic and unaltered documents.

This is not true. It is directly from the wholesaler. It's the paid commercial invoice they sent me as a PDF. They clearly have not contacted the wholesaler to verify. I'm in a doom loop. I've been selling this brand for years, and I always buy from this authorized wholesaler. What else can I do? Do I need to print it out and send a picture? They are not doing reasonable due diligence. Also, HAQM sells this product so they are profiting from blocking me. They are also accusing me of fraud. What the heck?

Hi, We have a dietary supplements brand on brand registry that was approved in brand registry last week (all the details of my product and pictures were provided) We also linked this brand to our amazon selling account and then listed my product. When I listed the product it seems it was processed but then an issue popped up saying I need approval to sell. When I click on request approval it takes me to a page that says the following

"We are not accepting applications to sell:

Other Health & Personal Care category in Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)

Other Human Ingestible Products in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)"

Our brand is already registered with brand registry and linked to our seller account.

Just wonder if it violate HAQM policy if I list the products purchased from HAQM.com? Just clarify that it is NOT dropship, instead, I purchased the products and stored in my warehouse, and then ship to the buyers with my own box if the order is placed.

I need to bring attention to a serious issue many sellers might be facing. HAQM directed me to send a replacement at no charge on behalf of a customer. The original item was a multi-piece set, and instead of returning the full set, the customer only returned a single piece.

Here's the breakdown:

Customer paid for 1 set.

HAQM auto-issued a free replacement (I got no payment for it).

Customer returns only one piece from the original set.

Now I have:

No payment for the replacement set.

An incomplete return I can't resell or return to my vendor.

No way to charge restocking, because HAQM didn't charge the customer for the replacement.

I cannot file a SAFE-T Claim since there is no refund issued. The customer was never charged for the replacement. So the original order is paid for the replacement.

This is incredibly unfair to sellers. We shouldn't be asked to send out free replacements and then be stuck with partial returns and no reimbursement.

HAQM needs to stop auto-authorizing free replacements unless they’re assuming full responsibility for the loss. Sellers can't absorb the cost of entire sets when customers return partials and the system doesn’t allow us to recoup anything.

Has anyone else experienced this? We need HAQM to review and update this policy.

Soy un vendedor autorizado por el programa de Transparency codes en estados unidos, pero no se como gestionar o proveer los codigos de transparencia de los envios, ya baje el archivo base "shipping confirmation file" lo he llenado y guardado en formatoCSV UTF-8 y con un nombre sin caracteristicas especiales con todas las ventas hechas y al momento de subirlo me marca error. alguien sabe como puedo resolver este error. El dia de hoy me manda amazon un correo que van a suspender un asin por no he subido esta informacion. Ojala alguien me pueda ayudar muchas gracias de antemano.

We sent an FBA shipment few months ago, shipment showing delivered to AMAZON warehouse. But nothing was received into our inventory and AMAZON closed the shipment. We opened case after case and NO one is helping . We are keep getting some copy paste answers saying nothing was received or found. And we are keep not getting any assistance or help with reimburstments. PLEASE WE NEED HELP !!!!!! this is 41k dollar or shipment and we are small business, this will put us out of business if we do not get any help !!!!
