Effective June 30, 2025, we’ll implement a new, dedicated stolen goods policy that reinforces our commitment to combat the sale of stolen goods to help protect customers.

To comply with new government regulations, we’re required to create this as a standalone policy, but this new policy is consistent with our existing efforts to investigate and prevent the sale of stolen goods. This new policy is also consistent with sellers’ existing requirements not to engage in illegal activities.

The sale of stolen goods is illegal. To comply with the policy, you should continue to ensure the legitimacy of your supply chain as described in our existing policies, such as the Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements.

As a reminder, the sale of stolen goods may result in removal of listings, immediate loss of selling privileges, ineligibility for fund disbursement, disposal of inventory in our fulfillment centers at your expense, and other legal consequences.

To all vendors selling on HAQM:

Be aware that HAQM is not giving vendors a proper or fair treatment in customer returns.

HAQM has all kinds of obstacles for your to reclaim what is your as well so be aware and take note of the following:

- RMA submitted by customer can authorized by HAQM even if you do not approve it (all a customer has to do is contact amazon to insist on a refund and the y will immediate approve the REM)

- Once the RMA ids approved, the refund for the vendor's merchandise is credit back fully (including shipping) to the customer.

- The RMA return label that HAQM gives the customer is charged to you, the vendor (Even if you have a policy stating the customer is responsible for any returns).

-When you are making a proper refund, most times their platform does not let you deduct the return label charges from the refund unless you try to sort of do it with a re-stock fee.

- When making a refund, the re-stock fee function use to be able to input decimal amounts to be more precise, now thay have remove that function and it is now very hard to calculate a proper re-stock fee.

-It use to be that if you called for help on the customer service they would at least put an effort to help the vendors, now they representatives are rude, dismissive and now they are authorized to hang up on you if you the vendor get irritated with them and they will make it difficult for you to get a supervisor. The representative will cut you off rudely and tell you he is issuing a Waring (you get 3) before he or she will hang up on you if they don like your tone of voice.

-Buyers can buy from vendors and complain to HAQM that they did not receive their packages and they will get their money back as well as your merchandise, that is correct, HAQM is helping these thieves steal form you the vendors.

In the years we've been on HAQM, we will have fake returns, broken items, swaps, used, etc.

Today was a first for us though.

Customer bought diapers a few weeks ago, returned saying "wrong size", opened the return today to find USED diapers!

Guys.... USED DIAPERS!!! 🤮

I filed the Safe-T claim today, which we all know has become a full joke now. I am guessing I get a response saying I can still sell them! Haha

Fraudulent Returns and Safe-T Claim poorly written

This is relatively new to HAQM for us but has been going on in other marketplaces. Buyers are buying and shipping to an address of another person and then they claim the product is faulty or some gosh awful return reason. instead of shipping my product back, they ship an envelope with garbage in it. Anyway. when I went to the Safe-T Claim section, it said I could not file the claim because I had not issued a refund yet. After I issued the refund, It says I cannot file the Safe-t Claim because I INITIATED THE REFUND. No duh. You said a refund had to be made before a claim could be submitted.

Is there anything I can do, a department I can reach out to, or is this a $300 learning curve since there were 2 of these type returns ins 2 days.

Hello,

Our TOP-selling ASIN has been unexpectedly suspended due to a single customer complaint regarding an expired unit received. We immediately submitted an appeal, but since June 3, it has remained under review with no progress.

Despite multiple calls to the Account Health team and repeated promises to escalate the case, there has been no resolution.

Additionally, on June 09, 2025, we have received confirmation from Fulfillment by HAQM (FBA) that inventory for this ASIN was inspected, and no defects were found (screenshot of the response is attached). Case ID 17847975041.

I kindly request urgent assistance from the Account Health team to expedite the review and reinstate the ASIN. This ongoing delay is causing us significant financial losses - thousands of dollars daily.

Dear HAQM Seller Community & Moderators,

I need to share an alarming incident that happened this morning and expose a critical flaw in HAQM's refund system. At 00:42 today, a buyer filed an "item not as described" return request. By 04:45 - **before I could even check my emails** - HAQM had already processed a FULL refund, charging my account without any investigation.

**The Shocking Reality:**

This buyer claimed "product doesn't match webpage" after **18 days of use** (order delivered May 23) but provided:

❌ No photos of alleged issue

❌ No installation attempt records

❌ No measurement verification

Meanwhile:

✅ My listing clearly states ALL specifications (dimensions, compatibility parameters)

✅ Products undergo **industry-standard testing** in controlled environments

**Why This Hurts Sellers:**

1️⃣ **"Guilty Until Proven Innocent" Approach**

- Automated systems favor buyers with zero evidence requirements

- Technical products (like precision components) require professional installation - buyer errors become seller liabilities

2️⃣ **Cost Catastrophe for Cross-Border Sellers**

- Lost product value + international shipping costs (30-50% of sale price)

- **NO RETURN REQUIRED** policy = free products for opportunistic buyers

3️⃣ **18-Day "Testing" Window Enables Abuse**

- Most technical issues appear within 72 hours of installation

- Extended windows invite post-usage returns

**Our Industry-Wide Crisis:**

This isn't isolated - technical product sellers are particularly vulnerable:

- Buyers without technical skills blame products for installation failures

- No verification process for compatibility claims

- Sellers absorb 100% loss for unverified accusations

**We Demand Fairness:**

HAQM MUST implement:

🔹 **Mandatory Evidence Rule:**

- Photo/video proof with order number visible

- Calibrated measurement verification for dimensional claims

- Installation attempt documentation

🔹 **Category-Specific Policies:**

- 7-day max return window for industrial/technical items

- Human review for claims filed >72hrs post-delivery

🔹 **Refund-Withholding Until Return:**

- No account deductions before return tracking validation

- International sellers deserve return-shipping protection

**To HAQM Moderators:**

We support buyer protection - but not a system that:

• Rewards baseless claims

• Ignores seller due diligence

• Bankrolls buyer experimentation at small businesses' expense

Hey everyone,

I’m the founder of Remedial Pax, a skincare brand that’s been on HAQM for over 4 years. We built a solid reputation, invested in quality, and consistently maintained strong performance.

Out of nowhere, my account was banned.

It started with strange performance notifications claiming “review manipulation” — but then HAQM followed up saying it was a mistake, and later that my account was just “under review.”

Meanwhile, the account is completely deactivated, and all listings are gone. The most frustrating part? When I call HAQM support and ask what’s actually going on, they say there are no active review violations on my account. No clear explanation. Just vague references, mixed messages, and dead ends.

One moment it’s a violation.Then it’s a mistake.Then it’s “under review.” But in reality, my business is shut down.

How does that make any sense?

Has anyone dealt with something like this and actually got their account reinstated?

Would appreciate any advice, connections, or even just shared frustration.
