Hello sellers!

You may have noticed exciting changes in your Account Health dashboard. We're making it easier for you to manage your Product Compliance listings all in one place!

📢 What's New?

In case you missed the news announcement, starting May 29, 2025, we started to migrate all product and food safety compliance requirements from the Manage Your Compliance dashboard to the Policy Compliance page within the Account Health dashboard.

The updated Account Health dashboard streamlines compliance management so you can monitor policy violations, submit documents, file appeals, and coordinate with Testing, Inspection and Certification providers for product verification, all in one place.

During the migration period, you must check both dashboards to view all of your violations. The migration is expected to be complete in July, and we’ll notify you once all compliance violations are consolidated into the Account Health dashboard.

📝Quick recap:

Key Changes Effective May 29, 2025:

* Migrating all product and food safety compliance requirements from the Manage Your Compliance dashboard to the Policy Compliance page

* Consolidating everything within the Account Health dashboard

* Creating a one-stop solution for monitoring violations, submitting documents, filing appeals, and coordinating with TIC providers

Hello,

I launched my product approximately 4 days ago. After just 2 days of sales, I received a message from HAQM stating that I needed to submit a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC). I was given only 2 days to respond, which is already quite unreasonable.

The main issue here is that the product I’m selling is not intended for children. Just because a child might come into contact with it in real life doesn’t make it a children’s product. This item is clearly designed for adults.

I contacted HAQM and explained this. They responded saying I should either remove child-related keywords from the listing or submit the required compliance documents.

So, I removed the keywords that were potentially linked to children. I double-checked the listing, cleaned up everything, and wrote back informing them that the issue was resolved. No one responded.

I opened a new case and asked them to reinstate the listing. Their response was: "Your request is still not approved because the issue remains and the product has characteristics of Collectable Toy for children. We request you take the following action to fulfill the compliance requirements for this product. Your product falls under the Collectable Toy category. You must submit the compliance documents listed on our help page to offer this product on HAQM."

So essentially, what they’re saying is this:

If I wanted to sell a gasoline canister meant for adults who drive vehicles, but there’s a chance a child might touch it, I would still need to submit a CPC?

That’s completely absurd.

Now my inventory is marked “Unfulfillable”, and I’m sure HAQM will soon destroy my entire stock, simply because I can’t produce a certificate in 2 days even though this product is absolutely not a children’s item.

Honestly, HAQM has completely failed here. The policy enforcement is unreasonable and inconsistent.

Would be nice if someone would look into this case:

Hello HAQM Team,

I’m reaching out because I’m at a loss and truly need help. HAQM recently suppressed my main ASIN (B0D6TWY1VR) due to alleged safety concerns — despite the fact that I’ve submitted full compliance documentation (UN38.3, MSDS, FDA, ROHS, etc.) and confirmed that returned units were fully functional and safe.

To make matters worse, I’m seeing identical products still live and selling — same design, same function, even from what appear to be overseas sellers with far less documentation or transparency.

Why am I being targeted while others are allowed to sell the same product? As a small business, this feels incredibly discouraging. Every day my listing is down, I'm losing revenue and credibility with customers. I’ve even had to deal with fake reviews likely placed by competitors, and I feel like I’m being unfairly punished while the bad actors thrive.

I’m not asking for special treatment — just fairness. If the product is truly considered unsafe by HAQM, then why is it only being enforced on my listing?

I’ve tried everything: appeal, documentation, direct communication — and was told there is "no path to reinstatement." I’m now respectfully requesting escalation or any insight from others who have experienced this or from HAQM reps who may be able to shed light on the situation.

Please, if there’s anyone who can help me understand the next step or what I can do differently, I’d be grateful.

Good Day

We recently had one of my ASIN's flagged and removed from HAQM because of a "Product and Food Safety" Violation.

When appealing to the case number (CASE ID 17786126611) we are getting the same auto reply being

“This product causes a safety risk. Therefore, it is prohibited from sale and listing on HAQM. At this time, we will not be reviewing any documents for this product.”

We also contacted account health support on these cases

(Case IDs 17786126611, 17791095401, 17791143031, 17872893181),

The account health page doesn't display what the exact problem is other than that its a "Product and Food Safety" violation and the Account Health seller support also cannot tell us what is the exact problem

One account health support agent did mention it could have something to do with type of Battery and could be flagged as an error, but we have submitted all that info in case and because we are getting the same auto reply we need some help from one of the HAQM representatives to get this escalated to executive team for review.

appreciate your help Thank you

Hi Moderators,

We’re reaching out to request your assistance in escalating an issue that we’ve been unable to resolve through regular support channels.

Several of our listings were recently suspended due to outdated product detail information that initially referenced a remote control using a coin cell battery. This was based on early design considerations when we first created the listings. However, during final production, we changed to a remote powered by standard AAA batteries. The coin cell battery version was never manufactured or sold.

We’ve since updated the product listings to reflect the correct battery type and provided the following documentation:

Product images showing the AAA-powered remote

Manufacturer references confirming AAA batteries

Test reports from an ISO 17025-accredited lab verifying the absence of coin cell batteries

Despite this, the ASINs remain suspended. All responses to our support cases have been automated, with continued requests for documentation that applies only to products that actually include button or coin cell batteries under 16 CFR 1263 / ANSI/UL 4200A.

We understand and fully support HAQM’s safety compliance standards, but in this case, the policy seems to be applied incorrectly due to legacy listing data. We’re at a point where a manual review is essential.

Here are the relevant case IDs:

17565094141

17565350181

17565191141

We would greatly appreciate your help in escalating this to the appropriate internal team for proper resolution.

Thank you in advance for your time and support.

There’s an ASIN that was mistakenly classified as a pesticide.

On May 23rd, the case response said the appeal was successful and the listing would be restored within about 2 business days.

But as of today, May 29th, the listing still hasn’t been reinstated. Every follow-up response I’ve received just says, 'The ASIN restoration process has been initiated, and it will be restored within 2 business days.' These templated replies are completely useless!

Why hasn’t the listing been restored even after a successful appeal?

Are most of the support agents just bots?

This is so frustrating!!!

Hello,

Our product ASIN B0CK51KV2X has been blocked and for weeks now we have been in contact with support only receiving automated responses, they do not give us specialized attention and we have already provided information of our product by different means.

Our product B0CK51KV2X is a point of sale terminal, one of our best sellers, it does not represent any risk and has not received any complaints from our customers.

We need to know how we can reactivate our point of sale B0CK51KV2X as we have a high volume of inventory in the HAQM warehouse.

We have already provided documentation and safety testing of our product, but we are not getting a response.

We sell an aquarium water dechlorinator product that was recently removed due to "Food and Product Safety" issues. There is no explanation as to why it was removed but asks for documentation to appeal. I am trying to get a reason for why it was removed however I have been unsuccesful. I would appreciate any help I can get. The case ID is 17882086251.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Moderators,

I am writing to respectfully request your assistance in escalating a compliance issue that we believe involves a misclassification.

One of our Canada-based listings (an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner) was recently deactivated after being classified as a Class II medical device. This particular ASIN is a bundled version of a standalone product we continue to sell under a separate ASIN without restrictions. The only difference is that the flagged listing includes a non-medical cleaning solution bundled for customer convenience. The core device is identical in both cases — same manufacturer, packaging, labeling, and intended use.

The cleaning solution is a general-purpose accessory, not a medicated or regulated substance, and it carries no health claims. Its inclusion does not alter the product’s function or its classification under Health Canada guidelines.

We have submitted multiple detailed appeals under Case ID: 17842546131, but we continue to receive the same standard response, with no acknowledgment of the specific context we’ve provided. It appears our case has not been fully reviewed, and we are stuck in a cycle of repeated replies without resolution.

In addition to the active standalone version, we also have other models of the same ultrasonic cleaner listed on HAQM that have not been classified as medical devices, further highlighting the inconsistency in enforcement across similar products.

We respectfully ask that this case be escalated to the appropriate compliance team for a proper review and comparison across related listings. This inconsistency is creating confusion and is negatively impacting our business operations.

We are fully committed to HAQM’s compliance policies and are happy to provide any supporting documentation required for your evaluation.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
